Plan a Trip for Your Youth Group to Try Skiing and Serving

First You Serve

Ski & Serve trips are a great way to build community within your youth group. You can fly or drive into Colorado Springs or Denver, Colorado and spend a day volunteering with an organization serving the homeless population. Many non-profits (Denver Rescue Mission, Delores Project, Grant Avenue Street Reach, etc.) offer opportunities for groups to provide meals, teach classes to youth, clean/organize shelters, or a variety of activities.

Then You Ski

After a day of service, head out to the mountains and spend some time in the snow. Winter Park, just a short 1 ½ hour drive, is a favorite destination for groups. Ski trips are surprisingly affordable, if you know where and when to ski. Can’t you just feel the fresh powder?
